The rules of the road for using InvoiceNow.
These terms are intentionally short and written in plain language. By using InvoiceNow you agree to them — so please read them once.

1. Who these terms are between
These terms form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the user") and InvoiceNow ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the website and tool available at this domain. If you are using the tool on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. What InvoiceNow is
InvoiceNow is a free, browser-based invoice generator. It lets you compose, preview, download, and share invoices without creating an account. The tool runs in your browser; we do not store the invoices you create.
3. The license we grant you
We grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use InvoiceNow and the invoices it produces for any lawful purpose — personal, freelance, or commercial — including billing your clients, archiving records, and integrating exported PDFs into your own workflows.
The invoice templates, generated PDFs, and the data you enter are yours. We claim no ownership of your invoice content.
4. The license you grant us
You grant us nothing. We do not receive your invoice data, so there is nothing for you to license to us. If you choose to email us feedback or content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the product.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use InvoiceNow to:
- Create invoices that are fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to misrepresent goods, services, parties, or amounts.
- Impersonate another business or individual without authorization.
- Issue invoices in connection with illegal goods or services, money laundering, tax evasion, or sanctions evasion.
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically copy the site beyond ordinary browsing.
- Attempt to disrupt the service, probe for vulnerabilities outside a responsible-disclosure context, or interfere with other users.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is allowed by applicable law.
You are solely responsible for the contents of any invoice you create and for ensuring it complies with the tax, billing, and consumer-protection laws applicable to you and your customers.
6. Your responsibility for your data
Because invoice data lives on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. Clearing your browser's site data, using private/incognito mode, switching browsers, or resetting your computer can permanently erase saved drafts. We have no way to recover them.
7. Third-party services
If you use the optional live currency conversion, the tool fetches exchange rates from a public third-party API. Rates are provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect the rate your bank or payment processor actually applies. Always confirm settlement amounts with your financial provider.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep InvoiceNow online, but we provide it on an as-is basis. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time. We may also pause or discontinue the service, though if we ever shut it down we will provide reasonable advance notice on the homepage.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
InvoiceNow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will InvoiceNow, its operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
Because InvoiceNow is free, you acknowledge that this allocation of risk is reasonable and forms an essential part of the bargain between us.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InvoiceNow and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party — including invoices you create, send, or rely upon.
12. Intellectual property
The InvoiceNow name, logo, templates, copy, and visual design are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of these elements without our permission. You retain full rights to the invoices you generate using the tool.
13. Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the service if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which InvoiceNow is operated, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction located there, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country grant you the right to bring proceedings locally.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by posting a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
